Take It Make It challenge - May

My take on the challenge

The TIMI challenge over at Craft Stamper this month is "Take a Stamp". I really liked the freebie stamp in the latest issue of Craft Stamper (June 2015). The look of the lady reminds me of an old polaroid photo so I decided to make a fake polaroid photo to use on my card.
It's Mother's Day in Sweden this month so I made the card to suit that occation. My mum is no longer with me so I will write "Best aunt ever" in the banner since my aunt is very dear to me. She has no children and I have always celebrated her on Mother's Day.

I coloured the stamped image with Promarkers in pale colours to get the look of an old photo. I die-cutted a frame and added some sepia accents to make the fake photo look even older and glossy.

My fake polaroid photo

I don't do Project Life but I find the small papers very cute so I could't resist buying a package a while ago. I planned to use them to make quick cards and that idea worked very well! I also added some decorations in form of die-cut flowers. Some of the flower has gold foil or glitter and some are in transparent paper and so is the envelope. This card was fun to make and fairly quick so I ended up making a few.

The cards were fairly quick to make so I made some more
