Hello sunshine!

Maybe it's the wrong season for this card? Here in Sweden the days are getting shorter and shorter. But I couldn't resist making this card because at A Blog Named Hero (Die Cutting) and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (No Designer Paper) there are fun challenges going on!
I wanted to use the die cut clouds I bought in Denmark this summer and also a background with clouds from Hero Arts.
I started by adding three different blue/turqoise shades of distress ink directly on the stamp and misted the stamp with water before each impression. I managed to get three impressions without inking the stamp up again. I sprayed the pieces of watercolor paper with some more water before I dried them with my heat gun. I really like how the background turned out!
To make the sun I taped some washi tape on a scrap piece of paper and die-cutted a circle, I cut the rays with a pair of scissors. Since the clouds had holes in them I tried to hide them behind some rhinestones.

Washi tape sun!

I had to make my own sun here in Sweden!
